I read with interest the article entitled “A Bibliometric Analysis of Global Research
Production Pertaining to Diabetic Foot Ulcers in the Past Ten Years” (

) and the follow-up commentary by YS Ho (

), both of which have been published in the Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery. I thank Zha et al for their interesting study and YS Ho for his valuable comments.
Although YS Ho provides a pertinent discussion of the search methodology used by Zha
et al, in my opinion YS Ho's remarks about the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC)
